Do I qualify for a GLP-1 prescription?+

FDA guidelines support GLP-1 prescribing for adults with a BMI ≥ 30, or BMI ≥ 27 with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol. BMI alone doesn’t determine eligibility — your full clinical picture does. Illinois residents 18+ only.

What does the medication actually cost?+

Medication is billed separately from your Nuu membership. With commercial insurance, many patients pay $0–$25/month through manufacturer savings programs. Without insurance, manufacturer direct-pay programs have brought costs down substantially — Wegovy through NovoCare Pharmacy and Zepbound through LillyDirect Self Pay currently run roughly $299–$449/month depending on the medication and dose. Prices are set by the manufacturers and can change.
